- 2001 年 2月 4日，美国 eHealthInsurance公司与厦门大学 SYNNEX研究发展中心及湖里区生产力促进中心开始商议软件开发合作条款。
- 2001 年 4月 6日，“ eHealthInsurance 中国技术中心”开业。选择 4月 6日厦大校庆日作为中心开业纪念日。首期聘用计算机软件工程师 6名。
- 2001 年 5月 25日，厦门制造的第一批软件成功发布在 eHealthInsurance公司软件系统。
- 2001 年 12月 23日，“ eHealthInsurance 中国技术中心”随同厦门大学 SYNNEX研究发展中心入驻厦门大学科技园（嘉庚 2号楼 6楼）。
