Linux Admin
Responsibilities:
- Provide 7X24 support for production infrastructure
- Maintain server uptime consistent with corporate goals and metrics
- Manage disk storage/tape backups and archiving for all critical business systems in the company

Commission Specialist
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Commission Specialist will be responsible for handling/analyzing/auditing commissions from carriers on Excel and the Revenue Recognition System (RRS). This position includes the conversion of paper/scanned commission statements into Excel format and processing of commissions using RRS as well as Excel spreadsheets and various other templates.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Convert paper/scanned commission statements (PDF) into required Excel format using Omnipage software
- Accurately prepare Individual and Family Plan (IFP) commissions into pre-formatted Excel spreadsheets to be used as templates for uploading commission data into RRS for further processing
- Data entry of Small Business Group (SBG) commissions into pre-formatted Excel spreadsheets
- Complete application/adjustments of IFP commissions to RRS invoices accurately and timely. Search Back Office and edit policy information (as necessary). Identify and research policy issues and work with the Lead and Senior Commission Specialists to take the next steps to resolution
- Write and maintain procedures on a semi-annual basis related to the analysis, research, audits, and reporting functions assigned to this position
- Work with the Gold River Commission Accounting team to complete tasks associated with the QA/Unpaid projects as assigned

Job Description
- Ensure eHealthInsurance Representative Office (“Rep. Office”)
financial transaction are properly recorded in the general ledger
and accounted for in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting
Principles
- Prepare and maintain monthly balance sheet and income statement
account reconciliations for Rep. Office
- Maintain and catalog documentation supporting monthly close
(e.g., close binders, journal entry binders, etc.) for Rep. Office
- Prepare monthly reporting package for Rep. Office to be submitted
to the U.S. parent within 5 working days of month end
- Prepare tax invoices for both eHealth China and eHealthInsurance
Representative Office
- Reconcile cash settlement with carriers related to eHealth
China ecommerce business
- Assist in the preparation of various governmental reports/returns,
including SAFE, Tax Bureaus, Finance Bureaus, Statistics Bureau,
Technology Bureau, banks, etc..
- Cross-train on daily/monthly accounting processes/procedures
for eHealth China
- Assist with the documentation and maintenance of policies and
procedures related to the monthly close process and ensure that
relevant internal controls are properly identified, documented
and operating effectively
- Special projects, as needed
Qualifications
- Holds a university degree in Finance/Accounting, or equivalent
- 3-4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with
a foreign-owned company
- Minimum 2 years experience entering and reconciling transactions
in the general ledger
- Minimum 1 year experience preparing governmental business and
tax reporting/returns
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong English verbal and written skills

Qualifications:
